The Community and Economic Development Department is responsible for planning, zoning, site inspection, rental housing license and inspections, sign permits and license issuance, and general housing activities.
The Engineering Department is responsible for planning, design and supervision of construction of all city streets, sewers, and water lines, and much more.
The Finance Department provides financial management and accounting services for all city operations.
The Fire-Rescue Department operates out of five stations with over 95 men and women serving their community. They cover a 36 square mile area with a population of more than 70,000.
